β˜€οΈ Summer Snacks

Hey Reader!

These days, it's feeling like SUMMER where I live... (and I'm here for it!😎)

These are some of my favorite snacks (ever) that I'll likely be making all summer long!

1 | Peanut Butter Oatmeal Balls

Of course, no-bake fiber protein balls are on the list:) These are especially quick and easy for summer, made with only 4 ingredients! (Peanut butter, oats, chocolate chips and honey) And I add other random things at times too, like coconut flakes, chia seeds, raisins, etc. Super easy!

2 | Taco Pinwheels

Pinwheels are easy and good, too! And also, they're customizable. Check out these Ham & Cheese Pinwheels and Vegetable Ranch Pinwheels, as well!

3 | Cheddar Sour Cream Seasoned Pretzels

Have you ever had seasoned pretzels? Maybe it's a Mennonite thing, I'm not sure. Anyways, tossing regular pretzels with a bit of oil and seasonings is a great way to zhuzh them up and turn them into a fun little snack:) Also try our Ranch Seasoned Pretzels!

4 | Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles

And of course, homemade popsicles. These are perfect for eating outside on a hot day!

5 | Quick & Easy Ranch Dip

(It's the bottom right one on the photo) Veggies and dip makes an easy cold snack that's perfect for warm weather. These are our three favorites: Ranch Dip (with no cream cheese), Cheddar Sour Cream Dip and this easy Ranch dip (with cream cheese). Serve them with crackers and/or vegetables!

Oh, and one thing I like to make to drink in the summer is meadow tea, made from my homegrown mint.

Have a great Monday (and rest of the week),🌞

See ya!

Hi Reader, Tomorrow is the officially the first day of FALL!πŸ‚ So let's make something with pumpkin:) Our latest obsession - pumpkin pancakes! I like that these have a decent amount of protein in them and of course they are made with fresh milled flour. And they're delicious with a drizzle of maple syrup! GET THE RECIPE: Whole Wheat Pumpkin Pancakes If you're like me and stay away from coffee most of the time (I love a good pumpkin spice latte, but ick, coffee tends to make me feel gross) then...

Hey Reader! And happy Monday.😎 It is feeling more and more like FALL where we live, and I'm not sure how I feel about that.😏 Hopefully this coming winter goes as fast as this summer did. In other news, Holly has had her calf... ...so now we have lots of fresh raw milk! I'm so excited to get into making homemade milk products once more. 1 | butter🧈 I definitely missed having the fresh, rich, raw butter whilst the cow was dry, so this will likely be one of the first things I make:) GET the...

3 pancakes on a plate

Hello Reader, Just letting you know there's a NEW RECIPE on the site: Fresh Milled Flour Pancakes I like these fresh milled flour pancakes because they are soft and fluffy and don't taste strong like baking powder. And of course, they're made with all whole wheat flour! When frying the pancakes, you can sprinkle on any fun things you like! I'm thinking chocolate chips, blueberries, strawberry pieces, bacon bits, etc. Alot of times, we eat these with just maple syrup (real maple syrup, NOT the...
