Hey Reader,
Another Monday, another email! Hopefully your day is going great so far.π§‘
In case you didn't know, I enjoy a good DIY recipe. Especially if the recipe is "cleaner", or healthier than the store-bought version of the thing, whatever it may be.
I had made homemade laundry soap for a while, but I can't figure out how to scent it so my laundry actually smells clean after hanging outside to dry?!
Anyway. Last week, I made 2 of the quickest, easiest DIY recipes ever: taco seasoning and Italian seasoning! I love knowing what every ingredient is in my seasonings, and making your own is a great way to control that.
This recipe makes a (somewhat) large batch of mild taco seasoning, perfect for seasoning ground beef for tacos, or chicken, pork, or seafood, too. Use it anywhere you'd normally use taco seasoning!
This recipe makes a (kind of) large batch (about the size of a regular can from the store) of classic Italian seasoning. Great for seasoning soups and stews, pasta sauces, vegetables, pizza dough...
One thing we use all the time in our kitchen is a cutting board! We have been really liking this large cherry cutting board with juice grooves from Forest Decor. At first, I was a little unsure about caring for a wooden cutting board, but it's very easy! So if you need a gift idea for someone this summer, here's an idea for you. They have some very lovely olive wood items, customizable gifts and many more neat things.

Hey Reader! These days, it's feeling like SUMMER where I live... (and I'm here for it!π) These are some of my favorite snacks (ever) that I'll likely be making all summer long! 1 | Peanut Butter Oatmeal Balls Of course, no-bake fiber protein balls are on the list:) These are especially quick and easy for summer, made with only 4 ingredients! (Peanut butter, oats, chocolate chips and honey) And I add other random things at times too, like coconut flakes, chia seeds, raisins, etc. Super easy!...
